Little Owls 2024 - 2025
Mrs Kyte
Mrs Kyte and Mrs Fawcett
Welcome to Reception Class!
We are incredibly lucky to have 25 wonderful children in our class this year. There will be some amazing staff supporting us to learn, grow and thrive this academic year. Mrs Kyte will be our teacher on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and Mrs Fawcett will be our teacher on a Wednesday. We will also be supported by Mrs Fitter, Mrs Lee and Mrs Burton who are our wonderful teaching assistants.
The adults within the unit support all of the children, we are like a little family who care and respect each other. We encourage the children to self-regulate and show respect to themselves, their peers and the space around them. The children are encouraged to believe in themselves and to understand that when they make mistakes this shows that they are learning.
Our provision is highly inspiring and provides our children with rich learning opportunities and experiences linked to a main theme.
Children’s learning journeys are posted on Tapestry and parents are encouraged to comment on learning or add significant events and observations to their child’s journal. You can also follow us on Twitter for regular updates on all the wonderful things we have been learning.
We look forward to sharing your child’s early years with them and helping to support them to grow, achieve and become confident, independent individuals.
