Eagle Owls busy week

What a great start to the new term. We had a fantastic reading lesson today as we made predictions and inferences about our new book: Rose Blanche! I can't wait to get stuck into this book! 

In maths, we have started our topic on area and perimeter and so far, most children seem confident with these methods. 

In Science, we had a great lesson on animal life expectancies and learnt about why different animals have different life expectancies. 

We also had great success with our sports competition - 17 children represented school in an athletics competition. I am very impressed with behaviour and teamwork and we came second overall - well done everyone!
