Owlet Autumn Fun
Following on from learning though non-fiction books about Autumn last week, the children have been enjoying lots of Autumn stories. We have been learning to spot signs of seasonal change and discussing what sort of things happen during the Autumn time.
We found out that hedgehogs look for a cosy, safe spot to hibernate and talked about how different creatures use the Autumn time to prepare for winter. We also looked at how pumpkins grow and how they might be a part of Autumn traditions for some families. The children had lots of opportunities to share their knowledge and experiences about Autumn.
The Owlets have had lots of fun learning about the season!
