Year 6 first week back

We have had a great start back to the new term. 

In maths we have made great progress in our ratio topic - I have been very impressed with how the children have understood this new topic. In reading, we have started our new novel: The Unforgotten Coat and in writing, we have started our unit on speech writing. 

In other subjects, we had a great discussion on gender stereotypes in Online Safety, we enjoyed our first tag rugby lesson on Tuesday and today we started our new art unit by studying some artwork based on new topic of monotypes.
